Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Portinplug website, API, and services (collectively, the "Services"), provided by Portinplug, operated by VCPC Supplies LLC ("Portinplug," "we," "us"). By accessing or using the Services, or by completing a purchase, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.

The Services are intended for business use only. You must be at least 18 years old and authorized to act on behalf of the business you represent. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your API keys and account credentials, and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.

Portinplug provides programmatic access to provision telephone numbers on supported carrier networks and to retrieve the credentials needed to port those numbers to another carrier or service. Numbers are sourced through upstream carrier partners. Availability of specific carriers, area codes, and number types is not guaranteed and may change at any time.

You agree not to use the Services to:

• Violate any law, regulation, or third-party right, including FCC rules and telecommunications regulations;
• Engage in fraud, spam, robocalling, SMS abuse, spoofing, or any unlawful or deceptive communications;
• Resell, sublicense, or provide access to the Services in a manner that violates these Terms or our upstream carrier obligations;
• Attempt to reverse engineer, disrupt, or gain unauthorized access to the Services.

You are solely responsible for your use of any numbers you provision and for compliance with all applicable laws.

Numbers provisioned through the Services remain subject to the terms and capabilities of the underlying carrier. We provide port-out credentials (such as account numbers and PINs) to enable you to port numbers, but we do not guarantee that any given number can be ported to any specific destination carrier or service, or that a port will complete within a particular timeframe. Port eligibility and timing are controlled by the carriers involved.

Pricing for numbers and Services is as published or as agreed in writing. Fees are charged per number and are payable in accordance with the billing terms presented at purchase. Unless required by law, fees are non-refundable. We may change pricing prospectively at any time.

We strive to keep the Services available but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. The Services may be unavailable due to maintenance, carrier outages, or factors beyond our control. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Services at any time.

The Services, including all software, documentation, and content, are owned by Portinplug or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to access and use the Services in accordance with these Terms.

THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not warrant that the Services will meet your requirements or that numbers, porting, or credentials will function without interruption or error.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Portinplug (VCPC Supplies LLC) will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost profits or business interruption, arising out of or relating to your use of our products or Services. Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of the Services will not exceed the amount you paid for the order giving rise to the claim. Porting depends on third-party carrier systems that may experience delays or failures outside our control, and we are not responsible for such delays or failures.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Portinplug and its affiliates from any claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses arising out of your use of the Services, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any law or third-party right.

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Services at any time, with or without notice, for any violation of these Terms or for any conduct we reasonably believe is harmful or unlawful. Upon termination, your right to use the Services ceases immediately.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts located in the State of New York, United States of America.
